1981

Being signed to the Atlantic Record label was a thrill for me as two of my all time favourite bands Led Zeppelin  & Yes, was signed to the label. We are the band / Atomic Rock was released as a single, it reached number 56 in the U.K national charts in 1981. Forty thousand albums were sold in Germany, so I heard once. (Unconfirmed) The album was recorded in a Binfild Manor in Windsor, England, with The Truck Mobile.

After More, I formed Wildfire. This album was made very quickly. It was recorded two months after meeting Guitarist and co-writer, Martin Bushel. In that time we auditioned for three band members, and composed ten songs (all were used on the album) plus rehearsals, no gigs. I had bronchitis while singing for this album; however, I am still very fond of the end result.

The second album from Wildfire showed better promise as we had been together for a year, and had gigged around England and Europe to perfect the new songs before recording.

Sweet Live at the Marquee Was recorded in 1986 during one of three shows at the famous Marquee club, at 90 Wardour Street, West London. A live video was recorded at the same time. This CD was released in 1989 by Mace records in the U.S.A.

At the time of recording Live at the Marquee, a five camera shoot was taking place recording the event live while mixing it down to video tape. This was realised simultaneously with the live CD of the same name in 1989.
